W22 is one of Kemper's 127 mm (5 in) wire-and-wood tools: a hardwood handle shaped into a broad rounded paddle at one end and, at the other, a narrow pointed loop of plated high-strength music wire set in a brass ferrule. It removes and shapes with one tool. The wire takes clay away and the wood shapes and smooths what is left.
