TS2 is Kemper's smaller throwing stick. Once a form narrows at the shoulder your hand can no longer reach the inside wall, and a throwing stick carries the pressure in for you. That is how bottles and narrow-necked forms are shaped from the inside instead of being thrown open and closed in later.
