The SSR3C is the large size of Xiem's crescent rib. It has one long outside curve and one inside curve, so it fits both the outside and the inside of a form. The thin stainless steel flexes under your fingers to follow a curve, and it is stiff enough to scrape and level a surface. Use it on leather hard clay, and on polymer clay, wax and plaster too.
