PF is a fine, very plastic red clay for throwing, modelling, extruding and pressing. Its expansion suits standard low fire glazes in single or twice firing, and in reduction it gives excellent metallic lustre effects.
- 970 to 1055°C (about cone 07 to 04)
- No grog
- Shrinkage 5.5 percent drying, 0.6 percent firing at 1000°C
- Absorption 13.5 percent at 1000°C
