S10 is a serrated steel scraper. It is 95 mm (3 3/4 in), a rounded rectangle with teeth along both long edges. The teeth cut and leave a keyed surface, which is what you want when scoring a join or adding texture, and not what you want on a face you mean to keep smooth. Kemper also makes plain-edged scrapers in the same series for levelling.
