Eleven square stamps of bold geometric line work on faces 30 mm across and 32 mm deep. The patterns are radiating fans, wide parallel and diagonal ribs, herringbone chevrons, crossed bars and nested squares. The large face and deep relief cover the side of a mug in one impression. There is no border line around the face, so the impression is just the design, and the sides taper so the stamp lifts cleanly out of soft clay. The stamps slot onto the 8 mm wooden rod, which works as a handle, and instructions are included.
