Xiem's Rim Rib is one anodized aluminum tool for the rim of a pot. Eight notches around its edge, marked 13/64, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 3/4 and 7/8 in (5 to 22 mm), gauge a rim's thickness; the rest of the edge is scalloped, and a centre finger hole gives control on the wheel. Xiem lists it for measuring, compressing, smoothing, texturing and edging rims.
