R3 Ribbon Tool, 152 mm Steel, Shape 3 of Five

R3 is shape 3 in Kemper's six-inch ribbon range. One end is an angled scoop loop set off to one side; the other a pointed teardrop. Kemper's ribbon tools are named for the thin flat ribbon of steel that forms the cutting head. It gives a sharp edge with extra strength along the line of the cut. At 152 mm (6 in) your hand sits close to the cut, which suits fine work where you take off a little at a time.
