The Curly Mudwire ships compressed, so you pull it out to as much curl as you want, up to about 38 cm (15 in). Drawn through the clay, it leaves a coiled, rippled cut face that works well for faceting. It suits wood or salt fired ware and glazes that break over texture, such as celadon or tenmoku. Polymer handles keep the wire off your fingers.
