The long curved edge suits the outside of a bowl or the sweep of a shoulder, where a smaller rib leaves a faceted result because each pass is short. It is a finishing size rather than a detail size, and it is the wrong tool for a tight interior. Green sits in the middle of the five-level scale. If you are buying one grade to start with, this is the one that does the most jobs adequately. Polymer, so there is no metal edge to bruise the clay. Central hole for hanging.
