A traditional brush with a bamboo handle and a full, tapered head that comes to a fine point. The head holds plenty of underglaze, slip or oxide wash, so one dip carries a long stroke. Pressing down widens the line and lifting off narrows it again in the same movement. Use it for brushwork decoration on greenware and bisqueware, for lines and lettering, and for touching in small areas. Rinse it in water after use and reshape the tip before it dries.
