A rectangular kiln shelf 356 x 711 mm (14 x 28 in) and 25 mm (1 in) thick. The extra thickness gives it more strength across the posts for heavier ware. Kiln wash the top face before use so glaze drips can be chipped off, and leave the underside bare.
