Goldart
Cedar Heights Gold Art Clay is a highly plastic, fine-grained stoneware clay used as a primary component in ceramic bodies. Dry-milled to 200 mesh, it offers smooth working properties, a broad firing range, and light buff-to-cream fired colours that can develop attractive effects in reduction and wood firing.

Cedar Heights Gold Art Clay is dry milled and available at a 200-mesh particle size, giving it a fine, smooth texture and high plasticity. GoldArt can be used as a primary component for stoneware bodies in the cone 6–10 range, and notes that it is plastic enough to contribute useful working properties to ceramic body formulations.
GoldArt develops a range of light fired colours depending on temperature and atmosphere. A very light buff appearance at cone 06, darker cream at cone 8, and light grey at cone 10. Its relatively low iron and titania content can also contribute orange, grey, and red colour effects during reduction and wood firing.
The material has a reported Pyrometric Cone Equivalent of 29/31, indicating substantial refractoriness compared with many stoneware clays. Typical chemistry of approximately 28.8% alumina, 55.2% silica, 1.4% iron oxide, and 1.8% titania on a calcined basis. These figures are typical averages rather than guaranteed specifications, so testing is appropriate when developing or reproducing ceramic body formulations.
