A carving tool that is built to be re-tipped rather than replaced: a turned wooden shaft, a silicone grip where your fingers actually sit, and a cutting tip held in the end that comes out when it dulls. That matters for carving work, where a sharp tip is most of the result and a blunt one tears rather than cuts.
