The walls are double, and a heating element is set into the floor as well as the walls for an even temperature from top to bottom. The kiln is built in sections that stack and separate, so it moves through a doorway one section at a time. The lid lifter is standard and takes the weight of the lid. It needs a dedicated high amperage circuit, so check the supply before ordering. Two controllers are offered, the Bartlett V6-CF keypad (BX) or the Bartlett Genesis touchscreen (GX).
