8R5 Ribbon Tool, 203 mm Double Ended Steel

8R5 is one of seven shapes in Kemper's eight-inch ribbon range, with a cutting head at each end. One end is a small narrow rounded loop; the other a small flat-topped trapezoid. Both heads are noticeably smaller than the rest of the range. Kemper's ribbon tools are named for the thin flat ribbon of steel that forms the cutting head. It gives a sharp edge with extra strength along the line of the cut. At 203 mm (8 in) it is long enough to reach into a hollowed form without your knuckles catching on the rim.
