Texture Chrome Stoneware Glaze

Spectrum's 1100 series is a cone 4/6 stoneware glaze, and this colour is reactive. It is made to move and change in the firing instead of laying down one flat colour, so the result depends on the temperature, how thickly it is applied and the clay underneath, and the same jar can look quite different on a different body. It is one of the more fluid colours in the line and can run on a vertical wall. Three brush coats give the full colour. A reduction firing gives a different result from an electric kiln. Lead-free. Spectrum does not rate it non-toxic in the liquid state.
