Where ceramics meets skateboarding
The worlds of ceramics and skateboarding collided on Canada Day, at least for the Plainsman crew, as we spent the day at the Kin Coulee skatepark for the annual Beat the Heat skateboarding competition here in Medicine Hat.
Plainsman was proud to be one of the official sponsors this year. A huge shout-out to @medhatskate for all the work and energy that went into bringing the event to life, and to the skaters from across Canada who made it such a great spectacle. The community spirit the Skate Association brought out in everyone lasted all day long.
We left sunburnt, with fireworks to catch, and we’ll have more pictures to share soon. Great work to everyone involved, and happy Canada Day.
